🧠 The federal government introduced Bill C-34, the Safe Social Media Act. It proposes an age restriction to ban youth and children under 16 from holding social media accounts.

Most of the conversation is about protecting kids from harm.

But as always, it’s a nuanced conversation.

For some #neurodivergent kids, the internet isn't just entertainment.

It's where they find friends.

It's where they find community.

It's where they learn they're not alone.

It's worth considering the harm a social media ban for young people could have, especially those with marginalized identities.
